GUESS WHAT!!

We have some VERY exciting news…‼️

We are extremely happy to tell you that after months of hard work and a rigorous assessment, we officially hold ‘Arb Approved Contractor’ status from the Arboricultural Association. I cannot express the pride we feel to be able to say that out loud!

Months of hard work went into making this happen from all of our team and it’s something we have dreamed about for a number of years. Today, it finally happened!

WHAT DOES THIS ALL MEAN?

The Arb Approved Contractors Scheme is the only comprehensive accreditation scheme in the UK for Tree Surgery contractors.

In simple terms, they set high standards for their contractors to work to, both in the field and in the office. From tree knowledge and tree surgery practices to office processes and policies, they set the benchmarks and applicants have to hit them all consistently. If they achieve this, they will be named as an Arb Approved Contractor.

Each year, contractors are reassessed to ensure they have kept the standards high and can keep the title and badge that comes along with it.

For our customers, this should give you more peace of mind in choosing us to work with, it demonstrates that we are trustworthy, have high standards of work and are passionate about our business and industry.

WHAT HAS BEEN ASSESSED?

The Arboricultural Association’s assessment of Approved Contractors is not limited to their knowledge of trees and tree maintenance but also:

◉ Their understanding and practical application of current arboricultural practice

◉ Their compliance with legislative requirements of arboricultural contracting

◉ Their compliance with health and safety requirements of arboricultural contracting (endorsed by the CHAS scheme)

◉ Their high levels of service to clients through efficient business management.

◉ The Contractor must hold Public Liability insurance to a minimum of £5,000,000 with a maximum excess of £250 in any one incident.

All contractors are reassessed annual to ensure they have kept to the standards set out by the Arboricultural Association. The standards themselves are regularly reviewed to ensure that they reflect contemporary arboricultural research findings, legislative and health and safety requirements, business practices and customer expectations.
