PLANT MECHANIC

ABOUT THE ROLE:
Salary: Competitive - based on experience
Term: Full time (PAYE)

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
• Relevant qualifications for plant mechanic - or experience.
• Clean UK driving license (as a minimum) & towing
• At least 2 year experience (as a minimum)
• Excellent time management
• Ability to monitor machine performance & diagnose faults.
• Complete all relevant paperwork to obtain high standard of fleet management
• Carry our all activities using safe work practices and promote a safe working environment.
• Great organizational skills and self-motivation,
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Great communication skills when dealing directly with management
• Have a positive, can-do attitude
DUTIES INCLUDE :
• Daily servicing and plant maintenance
• Plant repairs
• Attending site breakdowns
• Fleet management / organising services and repairs to fit into business schedule.
• Ordering of parts and stock management.
• Creating service schedules for routine inspections / engine services
• Routine fleet vehicle servicing.
• Managing more involved projects to build/refurb arb specific equipment.
References and a trial will be required.
