Andrew Phipps 
Managing Director 
Andy qualified from Merrist Wood College in 2004 and went on to work for a local tree surgery firm for some time, gaining lots of experience in the trade along the way. He decided to venture off on his own in 2009 with a van, a second hand chipper and a couple of chainsaws. A Cut Above has grown considerably since then and it's mostly down to Andrew's determination to better the business, make it more efficient and overall a great experience for our customers. He manages the daily running of A Cut Above and is also the person who you will meet to obtain a quotation. 
Sophie Offer 
Director & Office Manager 
Sophie has always been in the background helping Andrew to manage the business, however she took the leap to become a full time member of the team following a redundancy in 2016 and the birth of Sophie & Andrew's daughter Willow. She now manages the office and is the person you will speak to when you call. She is currently attending Merrist Wood to acheive her Level 2 in Arboriculture (Theory only).

Willow Phipps 
Company Mascot 
Willow joined us on 26th Feb 2016 and has been ACA's biggest supporter ever since. She loves visiting her dad at work, helping to fix things in the yard and bossing everyone around, so we have no doubt she will be joining the family business in years to come.
